New Book!

A few months ago, Wiisdom Ekwere dropped a poster in my DM about a writing competition organized by Literal Guide Publishers.

I remember not being so sure about registering because I received the information late, but he encouraged me to try it out anyway.

On the 4th of March, I reached out to the organizers of the contest, and completed registration on the 7th, together with Inimfon Udoh, who I told about the contest when I met him.

Fast forward to two months later; I submitted the first draft of my manuscript. It had taken a month to get it ready, and I was proud of myself for putting something together.

Let me not bore you with the tales of the following months of waiting while working on distributing my debut novel and building my brand, Loyallove Nightfall.

Yesterday, the 23rd of July, was the Grand Finale of the competition. Since I couldn't make it to Lagos for the prize giving ceremony, I had Timothy Adoh proudly represent me at the occasion.

After a series of talks and presentations by the various students and contestants present, finally, the 2nd Runner up, 1st Runner up and Winner of the Maiden Edition of Literal Guide Book Writing Competition were announced.

I came second in the contest, with a rate of 88%, after the Winner, Anjola Aregbeaola, a Best-selling Author of a book titled "Best Friend", and a rate of 92%. Mercy Thompson came third with a rate of 80%, and made it among the top three Next Rated Authors. 

The three winning books are:

Beautiful Future by Anjola Aregbeaola.

Fighting the AI Virus by Imamfonido Okon. 

Out of the Box by Mercy Thompson.
